StoryCraft builds the capability to develop, articulate, and sustain strong leadership evidence in high‑stakes contexts.
 

Rather than focusing on storytelling alone, the course develops a disciplined, assessment‑ready approach to leadership evidence — one that makes judgement, influence, and impact clear to panels and selectors.
 

StoryCraft is organised into three phases that mirror how effective leadership evidence is constructed and reused in practice.
 

Phase 1 — UNDERSTAND
How leadership evidence is read and judged

• Participants clarify what leadership evidence actually is, how it is compared, and why capable leaders are often overlooked. 

The focus shifts from telling personal stories to understanding how evidence is interpreted within formal selection processes.
 

Phase 2 — APPLY
Judgement‑centred evidence construction

• Participants use structured frameworks such as SAO / STAR deliberately to surface decision‑making, influence, and impact.

Through guided drafting and refinement, leaders strengthen their own examples using clear structure and assessment‑aware language that remains authentic rather than rehearsed.

Phase 3 — EMBED
A reusable leadership evidence system

• Participants organise their work into a coherent evidence bank that can be adapted confidently across roles, criteria, and interview formats. 

This reduces re‑work and increases consistency and credibility over time.

StoryCraft is intentionally not structured as a traditional learning management system (LMS).

There are no completion metrics, quizzes, or linear content progression requirements. Instead, learning is practice‑based and applied directly to real leadership roles, real selection criteria, and real evidence demands.

StoryCraft is designed to help leaders develop disciplined, assessment‑ready leadership evidence through sustained reflection, drafting, and refinement. The focus is on judgement, influence, and credibility — not content consumption.

Participants engage with the material at their own pace, returning to their evidence as roles, criteria, and contexts change. Learning is cumulative, adaptive, and grounded in lived leadership practice rather than discrete tasks or modules.

It supports leaders who know they have influence, judgement, and impact — but struggle to articulate this clearly, consistently, and defensibly in written submissions.

StoryCraft is anchored by a practical capstone that runs across the entire course.

Throughout the course, participants build and refine their evidence incrementally rather than producing isolated responses.

By completion, participants have:

• A clearly defined leadership target or opportunity
• A mapped, reusable Leadership Evidence Bank
• Three to five assessable SAO / STAR leadership examples
• At least one completed written application response (or equivalent)
• Interview‑ready spoken versions of the same evidence

Completing the capstone marks a shift from hoping your leadership comes through to knowing it does.

Participants finish the course with leadership evidence they trust — and a process they can rely on across future roles, criteria, and interview contexts.
